solid comfort of the past with the modern conveniences of
today.
The house is set in 2 acres of garden which has many unusual
varieties of shrubs and trees. Guests are welcome to wander
around and enjoy the garden. Kevin is the gardener so all
questions are referred to him!

Kilmaneen Farmhouse is
a family run guesthouse. We offer our guests a very personal
service in a genuine Irish home. Guests can observe how we do
things in Ireland as farmers and tourist accommodation providers.
We do our best to answer all the questions that guests have about Ireland in general, our family, farming in Ireland, route planning
and what to do and see in the area. We are very interested in
listening to our guests and their stories too! Of course, we have
our limitations and we may not be able to offer all the service that
are found in hotels but we try to compensate for this in other ways.

In 1999
Kilmaneen Farmhouse was the
National
Winner - Rural Tourism Awards
We were
very honoured to be selected as the overall winners in the Farmhouse
Accommodation category.

Bed and
Breakfast in the Cottage
The cottage is adjacent to Kilmaneen Farmhouse and it can be let for
1 night or more on a bed and breakfast basis with the option of
dinner. Guests are invited to take their meals in the dining
room of the Farmhouse. This facility often suits guests that would
like to use the facilities in the cottage such as the washing
machine and cooking facilities but would also like the convenience
of having breakfast provided and maybe dinner also.
We do not normally provide daily housekeeping with this arrangement.
A Buffet meal is available each evening except Sunday. Please
